Hi, this is me, Miguel Opacic.

I have been around photography world since I have memory. I remember my dad’s hobby, in a dark small and improvised room revealing his job done with his film camera.

Since I got married and we had kids, I always wanted to capture those key moments, it was me and my still camera but guess what, I am realizing today how bad I was. My composition was poor, the quality of my photos were worst and how I regret today not being able to capture those moments that will not be back in a better way.

Thanks to my wife Skarlett, I was pushed to enhance my composition, she was always complaining why I was showing undesired objects on our family portraits…. Haha, I learned the hard way. Then we moved more than 20 years ago to South East Asia, and that was my trigger point… At that time I said, I need to capture these moments in the best as possible and was when I clicked to more serious camera equipments that have been evolving over the years. With the equipments, I dedicated many hours, trips and personal experiences to enhance and learn many of the skills I have today.

From portraits, to macro photography, passing from landscape to astrophotography, from more technical work as water drops to the most sensitive life moments our newborn kids, from family to friends events photo shooting. Ah, and cannot leave behind those days in the middle of the downtown streets capturing the Houston Astros glorious moments as World Champions. 

I am a member of the Professional Photographers of America.
With my experience, I am looking forward to capture the best memories of your life in the most professional and artistic way.

I am bilingual and can provide my services in both English and Spanish.
